I had never been snorkeling before, but it seemed like a lot of fun. I have used it to snorkel in La Jolla Cove multiple times now with no issues whatsoever. It fit correctly and worked immediately. I can't say whether an expert would want something more out of it, but I can say that this set couldn't possibly be a better deal or more beginner-friendly.
